The TRS president, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Saturday said elected representatives from ward members to MPs who fail to resign by the January 28 deadline will be taught a lesson by the people. “You will know on January 28 who are for Telangana and who are against it. We cannot achieve statehood unless we create a constitutional crisis and force the Centre to carve out separate state,” he said.
Mr Rao said the police is against people of Telangana region. He said a case was booked against his daughter Kavita for giving a call to boycott the screening of Jr NTR’s Adhurs.“Formation of Telangana is inevitable. There is no question of people of two
regions living together after all the injustice done to the region,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mr Rao skipped the Mahbubnagar district review meeting convened by the Chief Minister on Saturday. Sources said Mahbubnagar was strategically selected to “expose” Mr Rao over issues such as drought and welfare programmes.
