The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has apologised to the public for the inclusion of photograph of a Pakistan official in government advertisement on girl child. An internal inquiry has also been ordered into the goof-up.An ad by the Women and Child Development Ministry on female foeticide in a leading daily has a picture of former Pakistani Air Chief Marshal Tanwir Mohd Ahmed. "The Prime Minister's Office has noted with regret the inclusion of a foreign national's photograph in a Government of india advertisement. While an internal enquiry has been instituted, the PMO apologises to the public for this lapse," reads a PMO release on the ad goof-up.
