BANGLADESH 197/8

Jan 24, 2010
Bangladesh came back well in the second session of the second Test but still lost three wickets. Mohammad Mahmudullah stood like a rock for the hosts, bringing up a well-deserved fifty.

Pragyan Ojha is making the most of his return to the Indian Test side, having picked up his second wicket to peg Bangladesh against the wall. Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma picked up three wickets apiece as Bangladesh continued to lose wickets in a heap against India in Dhaka.
Ishant Sharma struck after lunch to see off Mushfiqur Rahim, who looked set for another long stint at the crease.
Shakib-al-Hasan then decided to chase a widish delivery from Zaheer Khan and was caught in the slip cordon, the Bangla skipper perishing for 34.
