The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) will introduce engineering courses on the lines of IIT-Kharagpur in its three IIITs at Idupulapaya, Nuzvidu and Basar from the 2010-11 academic year. This will enable the first batch of 6,000 students, who joined the IIITs in the 2008-09 academic year after completing SSC, get admission to engineering courses this year.
