Indian opener Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday became the fourth batsman in the world to score five consecutive Test hundreds.The southpaw smashed 116 off 129 balls in India's second innings in the first cricket Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong.

Smith pushes Sehwag to fifth in ICC rankings

Virender Sehwag slipped to fifth position, loss of one place, in the ICC ranking for the Test batsmen but his fellow opener Gautam Gambhir held on to his top position.
South African skipper Graeme Smith, who hammered a brilliant 183 in the second innings of the third Test against England, jumped seven places to replace Sehwag in the fourth place.
Seasoned Rahul Dravid gained a place to reach 12th slot with Sachin Tendulkar following him. VVS Laxman also improved his ranking, going to number 17 from 18.
In the bowlers’ list Harbhajan Singh (6) and Zaheer Khan had their rankings unchanged.
