The facility will become operational in the state within the next three months. The central architecture system would enable the stamps and registration department to prepare a land value chart for any place in the state and based on that, people can register the property in any sub-registrar office.
“Once the land value is known, there won’t be any problem for registration of the property. The new system is set to speed up the process,” said Mr Aravind Reddy, inspector general of stamps and registration department.
A market value database will be available in a central server, which would be accessible to the registrar’s offices. The dissemination of information will be easy and at the same time, tamper-proof,” said Mr Reddy.
To operate the new system, the department has already ordered for a complete overhaul of as many as 432 sub-registrar offices in the state.
