Piped gas from Sept.

Supply of piped gas to households in the twin cities will start from September this year.

The supply will initially be made in Bowenpally area because of its proximity to the landing point of piped gas from the Krishna-Godavari basin.

Officials who attended a review meeting informed the Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, that arrangements were being made to supply gas for use in industrial units and vehicles too.
The state-owned AP Gas Infrastructure Corporation has also become part of the joint venture of Bhagyanagar Gas, HPCL and Gas Authority of India that would implement the piped gas supply project in the city.
