Fencing plan for Tirumala

Six years after the then chief minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu mooted the idea of constructing a Maha Prakaram around the four mada streets of the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board on Saturday decided to implement the same, but termed it as “arrangement of fencing, with grill gates”.

Briefing the decisions of the TTD Trust Board at Tirumala, its chairman Mr D.K. Adikesavulu Naidu, and the executive officer Mr I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said that the high security project would be started with an outlay of Rs 2.93 crore.
