Change in timing of CAT

Jan 30, 2010
The second phase of the Common Admission Test (CAT), the entrance test for the Indian Institutes of Management scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on January 30 and 31, has been rescheduled to 12 noon, according to a release.
The release said that due to potential adverse weather conditions across parts of India and to further protect the integrity and security of the CAT , Prometric (the global outfit entrusted with conducting the online exams) and IIM has decided to change the schedule.
Candidates scheduled for this session need to arrive at their test centres by 10 a.m. for security and identity checks. The timing for the afternoon sessions scheduled at 3 p.m. remains unchanged.
The first phase of the CAT 2009 was from November 28 to December 8, 2009. All candidates identified by Prometric for the re-test will appear in the second phase.
