BJP to launch nationwide agitation against inflation

he Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced the launch of a nationwide agitation against the price hikes and rising inflation in the country. In response to Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's statement attributing the current surge in food inflation partly to high sugar prices BJP said that it was the government's duty to find a solution and not just re-assert the problem. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Mumbai, BJP national spokesperson Prakash Jawadekar, accused the minister and the government of irresponsibility and callousness.
