Maoists behind T-stir?

The war of words between Andhra and Telangana leaders intensified on Sunday after Congress leaders, Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy and Mr Kavuri Sambasiva Rao declared that Maoists were behind the ongoing Telangana agitation.

Telangana leaders dared them to come to Osmania University. Senior legislator from Nellore, Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy, on Sunday, alleged that the Telangana movement was being controlled by Maoists and the Joint Action Committee has members who are Maoist sympathisers. “Throughout the country, extremists and Maoists are supporting formation of smaller states. Students from Telangana districts can come and study in Andhra and Rayalaseema Universities whereas not even one person is allowed in Telangana universities,” pointed out Mr Reddy. Telangana leaders demanded an apology from Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy.
