The city is jointly developed by L&T and APIIC with an investment of Rs 425 crore.
“The Hitech City consists of a total of 11 lakh square feet IT space and 4.5 lakh square feet of residential area with all basic amenities, out of which two lakh square feet IT space is completed in the first phase and the remaining will be completed within the four year period,” said R. Sridharan, Vice President, L&T’s IT Projects.
The Hitech City is expected to provide 15,000 direct employment and 45,000 employment indirectly and is connected with rail, road and air, he added.
